Earrings - Captive Selenite Stardrops

Selenite is often associated with the moon as the name comes from the moon goddess Selene. While the stone is beautiful and shines like moonlight, the gem is on the fragile side, and should not be submerged in water or scratched against hard surfaces. This is why I decided to keep the gem captive inside these stainless steel loops.* It allows you to wear them with for their purifying energy, while making sure they stay protected from rougher elements. Please remember to remove these earrings before showering, swimming, or other water related activities to boost longevity.

*To keep these Selenite beads with you during turbulent times, they remain sheltered safely inside a “Captive” weave of stainless steel rings, taken from chainmail weaving techniques.
