About Ash Made Me
Ash Made Me is a small artist business located in Brooklyn, New York, run by Ash and her mascot Cheep Cheep.
From planner stickers to handmade jewelry and beaded accessories, Ash makes whimsical goods for the young at heart. While her beaded designs are inspired by her Filipino heritage, featuring coastal materials such as pearl, jade, and Capiz shell, her sticker designs feature her interest in birds, stars, and stationery. Ash's dream is to share her love for stars and birds with the world and use her expertise to help eclectic individuals build an etherial, sparkling look of their own ✩✩
Ash's Story
Ash has always drawn and loved stars from a young age. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, she wanted to help small businesses create products that aligned with their brand and mission. But after a few years, she realized most companies did not have the consumer's best interest in mind, nor did they appreciate the design work that went into creating, as long as the item turned a profit. Disillusioned and wanting a more ethical way of creating, she opened her shop in 2024 with the mission of bringing joy to those who still appreciate curated, analog, handmade, and heartfelt items in an increasingly digital age.
Ash's work has been featured in Christian Siriano stores, Yoseka Stationery products, and she has created educational content on YouTube and Instagram about Asian-focused stationery with over 750k and 5M in lifetime views respectively.
Behind the Name
I named my shop "Ash Made Me" because I believe that everything my hands touch brings them to life. At the end of the creative process, I like to imagine my creations looking back at me saying, "Ash Made Me!" as a proud child/product of mine.
I've always had the desire to create, but my hobbies and skills change and grow quite frequently. The name Ash Made Me allows me to explore and create whatever I like, without being restricted to a single genre.
